Background: Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare disease characterized by hyperphagia and abnormal food-related behaviors that contribute to severe morbidity and early mortality and to a significant burden on patients and caregivers. There is no approved treatment for hyperphagia in PWS.
